- pgrolaux04 févr. 2019Bioelectronic MedicineBioelectronic medicine, which is a field involving electrical stimulation of nerves, had literally boomed since the last decade with the discover of the huge benefit of stimulating the vagus nerve and the trigeminal nerve. Both are the main cranial nerve that we have. These nerve interfere with our brain and our overall physiology. Vagus nerve stimulation, for instance, was approved FDA and CE (European mark) for several affections, including epilepsy, depression, obesity, diabetes, migraines, etc. To learn more about it, I invite you to watch the CTV News Atantic interview about it.. https://www.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=1366780J'aime
- pgrolaux31 janv. 2019Exercices and NutritionI think what to eat the best depends on your actual condition, e.g. healthy one or suffering from diseases. You dont eat the same if feeling or beeing sick, having IBS or IBD (like Cronh's). But what make sense? What make sense is to target a good diet ever... It does means, low sugar, low carbs (it is sugar at the end) and high fat (non saturated one). Why? because sugar promote inflammation in your body (not natural sugars from fruits, but processed sugar in food and drinks). Pops are NOT good at all! Generally speaking avoid any processed food and drinks. Go for local market food and seasonal one. Doesn't make sens to eat tomatoes in winter time and brussels sprout in summer time. Processed food and non organic one may also contain pesticide. You know glyphosate..Monsanto (now belonging to Bayer big pharma)... ... and don't eat to much, especially evening time... You may have nightmare then and gain weight more easily.J'aime
- pgrolaux31 janv. 2019Classical OsteopathyActually here is a quote from a famous US osteopath, Dr. I. Korr that I think resume well why classcial... "“I remind you further of another principle. You do not treat symptoms, you do not treat pain, you do not treat diseases, you do not treat parts of the body, you do not treat the musculo-skeletal system; you treat persons, you treat human beings. It is they who get well or not depending on the competence of their built-in health care system. I would like to hear you saying this more and more, that you are treating more than a musculo-skeletal system.” Osteopaths may have the tendency to focus more on the musculo-skeletal system rather then to practice their art as mentionned above. Classical osteopaths, however, certainly comply with Dr. Korr remark. Training and education in osteopathy could make a difference. Not all osteopaths are trained in the same way. The overriding principle of classical osteopathy is therefore not bony adjustment, but body adjustment. This historically relevant philosophy is what makes classical osteopathy distinct.J'aime
